The test
When March each year, online, at school. Years 3, 5, 7 and 9.
The tests Numeracy, reading, conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and writing.
Results Four proficiency levels: Exceeding, Strong, Developing and Needs additional support.
What is trained here
761 official item descriptors with their national facility rates are the ruler: a family is placed in the band the real item sat in. Numeracy families are drawn where the real items are drawn: number lines, rulers, grids, nets, tally charts, calendars. Reading sits on passages of the official length, paired texts included; conventions follow the child's own ramp. The weekly writing piece is scored on the official ten-strand rubric, with the evidence for every strand shown. Marked by code; every verdict names its question. The one thing an AI reads is a writing piece, to score it on the official rubric.

Are these real NAPLAN questions? No test item text is stored or shown. The official descriptors and facility rates calibrate the families; every question is a fresh variation.
Year 9? Not yet. Years 3, 5 and 7 are open; Year 9 is planned and is not sold before it is on the site.
